Remember ten days ago before the season ended due to Syracuse rims that had to have had a lid on them? If so, then you might have a recollection of me going on a Boston radio show to debate my Dan Shaughnessy feud with two rude Boston radio hosts who screamed at me and made fun of the state of Kentucky. Well one of those hosts was named Gary Tanguay (he is the one on the left). And yesterday, Gary Tanguay was fired from the radio station according to this article in the Boston Globe. Tanguay was the rudest of the group and was the one who kept making jokes about me being a hillbilly, Kentucky being full or inbreds and called me an idiot after I had hung up the phone. He apparently was replaced yesterday with a new host.
Now I am not one to take glee in people losing their jobs. In this economy and the sports profession in general, jobs are hard to come by. But at times there is karma in life and after a radio appearance that an employee of the Boston radio station told me was the “most streamed in the history of the station by a factor of ten”, I was quite frustrated. Lets just say that this eases the frustration…even if only a bit.
