University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

Kentucky is No. 2… again.

Marquette didn’t give Kentucky any help over the weekend at Syracuse. The Golden Eagles lost on the road to the Orange, securing Syracuse’s spot as the nation’s top team this week. UK is the second-ranked team in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches poll, followed by North Carolina, Baylor, and Ohio State.

The second best team in the state, Murray State, is ranked No. 14.

Louisville is a spot behind the Racers at No. 15.

How bout a post about the Cats facing the last 5 national Champs and how we faired against them. All signs point to a LSU win although ill be rooting for Bama.

I agree #9, and I’m just hoping Racers break top 10 soon. I am an alum and don’t know if we have ever been in the top 10. I know the OVC is weak, but Murray is like UK in conference (everyone’s superbowl game), and plus Murray has done their last 2 games with their leading rebounder out with injury and knocked off a hostile Austin Peay at their place (Peay beat Tenn at UT). So I’m really thinking these boys are good enough to make a run.

I only want to be #1 when we bring the NCAA trophy back to Lexington; where it belongs.
