Kentucky gets all the votes in the Coaches Poll

Kentucky is No. 1 in both polls again this week after big wins against Georgia and LSU. The Cats received all 31 first place votes in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll to stay ahead of Syracuse, Ohio State, Missouri and Duke.

On the women’s side of things, Matthew Mitchell’s bunch is ranked No. 6 for the third consecutive week.

Go Cats.

It’s so great to be back on top/#1 and the gentleman with the #1 on his jersey is a big reason we are. It’s great to have a Kentucky boy helping to led the way!! Got Darius! Go CATS!!

#2 Thanks for pointing that out. I was about to complain that the picture cuts off Darius until you pointed out why they did it!

AP poll is out now too…Cats get 63 of 65 first place votes with the other 2 going to Syracuse. Who the hell are these 2 AP writers?

7: I am happy to hear that 63 voters got it “right” this week, and only 2 voters got it “wrong”. I assume that Tipton and Not Jerry Tipton were the two who voted for Syracuse.

7 and 8 – Nick Jezierny of the Idaho Statesman in Boise, Idaho and Scott Johnson of the Daily Herald in Everett, Washington both seem to think that Syracuse is the #1 team in the country. Sorry, it’s good that another KY school is in the top 25,NOT LOSERVILLE, but if every team in the top 25 played Murray St. schedule, then they would all be UNDEATED!! What a joke #9,come on what a joke! GO CATS!!

UK Women still not getting respect in the polls

UK beat Dook when they played each other earlier this season
UK is 20-2, Dook is 17-2
UK is 5-1 vs ranked opponents, Dook is 2-2

Yet this weeks AP has Dook #5, and UK #6

BBN awake and let the folks at ESPN and the AP that this can not stand!

Has anyone else noticed hoe espn’s story the last two weeks is titled “so and so slips in poll’? Instead of how UK is unanimous #1

7,8,9: Scott Johnson has consistently ranked Kentucky low on a weekly basis every year since Cal has been here. Just a couple weeks ago he was the only one who had Kentucky at 4th or 5th while everyone else had UK second… or third at worst. Scott Johnson either doesn’t like Calipari or Kentucky… or both.
