Kentucky Gets A Commitment From Central Hardin Defensive Lineman

patrick-graffree

Joker Phillips added another name to the 2012 class today in the form of Patrick Graffree, a defensive lineman from Central Hardin. The 6’4″, 245 pound defensive end had received some interest from Louisville and he has a Facebook fan page, so that’s like getting two victories in one. Graffree was also a player who turned some heads at UK’s camp yesterday, which appears to have led to this commitment today.

More to come in a few. In the meantime, watch him do his work…

Keep up the good work Joker and company. I like the fact that players want to commit to UK and not
wait and see if they get better offers from better fooball schools. Go Football Cats!

Central Hardin just hired Mark Perry as their Head Coach. He played under Hal Mumme. I would be willing to bet he put this in motion. He is great about selling his players to colleges

I want a rematch with Pittsburgh next year. I feel confident. They can even bring coaches this time.

What other offers did he have on the table? That usually tells the story.

The story is that we can’t win with recruits that no other SEC schools want.

If Joker offered him a scholly then that is enough for me. Please support Joker and give him some time to get his players and coaches in place. He has been loyal to UK all his life and has waited for this opportunity his entire life. I think he has earned the right to coach this program and we need to support him until he proves that he cannot get the job done. If at the end of year 4 or 5 we have not improved or have gone backwards then we can say, he’s not the one that can lead us to the promise land and it will be time to move on. But until then I believe in Joker 100%.

Big kid, but not sec good. We played them for the district title last year and he flat quit in the 4th quarter. Good for him, but there is way UK is winning big games if he is on the field.
