Kentucky Basketball Team To Host Telethon For Sandy Victims

Kentucky Basketball will be hosting another telethon, this time for the victims of the recent Superstorm Sandy that ravaged New York City and a large portion of the East Coast this past week.
Per Kyle Tucker and the UK Athletics’ Twitter account, the telethon will be aired on Wednesday, November 7th from 7-8pm. The telethon, similar to the one in Calipari’s first season for the Haiti Earthquake victims, will be aired on WKYT in Lexington and throughout the state on UK/IMG’s Network affiliates, as well as a live stream on WKYT.com.
If you’d like to donate outside of telethon hours, donations can be made at Redcross.org, and by calling the number 859-253-1331. Get your wallets out for a good cause, Big Blue Nation.

Yet most will still go out of their way to label our gracious, forward-thinking, and considerate head coach as “slime” or a “scumbag.” I think it’s safe to (once again) say that Cal “gets it.”
I’d donate money for firing Joker!
2) why donate?? You can wait 3 weeks and get it for free …
I’ll call AFTER the game this year.
Go Cats!
If we call and donate during the telethon are we guaranteed to get to talk with a UK player? Just wondering.
Can we donate Mitch in the telethon?
Can I donate my flat top to Fros of Love?
this is a great thing for Cal to do (once again) to help the victims.
when is the Pitino/UofL telethon?
#8) you may have missed it…think it was only on for about 15 seconds or so….
Screw NY and NJ. I don’t remember them sending cash or having a telethon for us after the storms this past spring.
