Kentucky Sports Radio

University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

Kentucky and Florida will play at 7:00

I have some very important news for anyone planning to watch Kentucky football on September 24th. It was just announced that UK will play Florida at 7:00 PM on either ESPN or ESPN 2. It’s another nationally televised battle under the lights for the Cats and Gators.

Is this the year???

Go Cats.

Wonder how many yards the Florida ball carrier has already gained by the time Winston Guy finally caught up to him to attempt to make the tackle? 20?

It’s another nationally televised beating under the lights for the Cats as the losing streak to the Gators continues to grow.

    Even in a down season we’re not ready… Gaytur’s
yeah I hate them but the Cats haven’t proven they
are ready for Prime Time yet, still be pulling for them

Florida has done as much to prove it self as we have, and this will be our best shot to beat florida that we’ve had in awhile. I’ll watch to see if we can prove we belong in this game and hopefully we give ourselves a shot to win this one.

    No.

However, it would be nice to keep it respectible. Hard work beats talent when talent does not work hard! Let’s hope our boys want it more despite being less talented, and maybe we can claim a moral victory out of it…but a win? neh.

I just got a call from my friend Slim. He said he’ll be there, but I could’ve sworn I heard a mariachi band in the background.

    1) Be fair. Guy would hit him hard with a shoulder dive and just not wrap up. Trevathan and Guy aren’t the ones chasing. It’s everyone else.

Is this the year? That is a joke right? I am a big UK fan just like everyone else on here but I am also realistic. We can’t get any offense against a sunbelt and MAC team. What makes you think we can beat a top tier SEC team?

I agree let’s worry about the UL game first. Winston get your chin on the football before you break your neck, and while you’re at it wrap up.

The season isnt over after two games (at least we are 2-0). Yeah, lackluster performances until the 4th quarter Saturday. So many teams have looked so poor in the early season. Do you think ohio state fans are throwing in the towel after almost being beaten by Toledo? Teams get better and let’s hope that UK is one that takes a giant leap this week.

We let some unknown freshman (Reed) score 5 TD’s against us. He never did jack the rest of the year. Quit worrying about Gaytors and just focus on the Cards

The Florida game was over the minute it was announced that UK has 12 Freshman first or second on the depth chart.

Wonder if someone out there could inform us on how many Freshman are in a similar posistion on the other SEC resters.
