University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

Kentucky 57, Georgia 44

Just one game after Kentucky had six players in double-figures for the first time since the 2004-2005 season, only two players hit double digits in scoring against Georgia. That’s all it would take, though, as Darius Miller and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist combined for 33 points in UK’s 57-44 win over the Bulldogs. Miller had a season-high 19 off the bench, making all four of this 3-point attempts, and MKG had a double-double with 11 rebounds to go with his 14 points.

Marquis Teague didn’t have his best shooting night but he put together a pretty impressive stat sheet. The point guard was just 1-of-7 from the field, but he grabbed a career-high seven rebounds and dished out seven assists with zero turnovers.

Beisner will be by shortly with more from the game.

Talk amongst yourselves for now.

You know Cal isn’t going to be happy with the play, and he shouldn’t be. Miller played out of his mind and saved the game for us. We were 7-23 shooting in 2nd half.

20-1 Ranked #1 in the nation. Look at Georgia’s W-L record. Hanging a 13 point loss on them in Georgia is not bad.

Any road win is a good win. I did feel like Cal tried to micro-manage this game though. Wish he’d turn them loose more.

If there is a weak link in this team, it’s the Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde of Lamb & Jones; these two are so hard headed they can’t get out of their own ways. Neither one of them gets it, and at this rate they never will get it !!

Jones better learn how to shoot & drive to the basket with his right hand or he is going to get everything blocked in the NBA.

Darius was a GAM tonight(JT voice)

Darius Miller better get as many shots up as possible because Coach Cal will yank him out for no reason. How do you shoot 7 for 8 and only play 23 minutes? It’s like he doesn’t want anyone but MKG and AD to succeed…

22 – jones, teague, lamb were clearly not getting it done on the offensive side so yes Cal has to push AD and MKG. Cal has always been telling Miller he is better than he is so lets not get shit twisted.

Love KSR! Absolutely despise comments section. Young team, good road win with some continuing growing pains, number 1 team in the land at least for now… The alternative: BCG recruiting 4th graders (at the rate he was going, not really an exaggeration). Seriously, time for the negative nancies to go hound SteveScott’s site.

Zero Teague turnovers. Progress! He has at least stopped being as much a liability.

I know that the us Wildcat fans have been heavily interested in Anthony Davis’s evebrows, but I think we’ve all been missing out on another important feature on the team…..Doron Lamb’s hair! I love the afro and was so sad to see it was cut prior to the Georgia game. I say we need to “Brow Down,Fro Up” for Davis and Lamb! Anybody with me????
