Can’t wait for all the folks to come out demanding hood play more based on this performance. His level of play is that of a walk on. Actually, polson is better than hood. But I guess people just want that ky white boy to play over more talented players.
That actually was Hoods best game in a long time. He looked comfortable out there and more confident. I really hope he can build on this game. Guys we are really short on players, we need all the help we can get and if Hood can come in and play 7 minutes a game like he did tonight, he will be a benefit to this team just like Polson is right now.
UK always has and probably always will play to the level of the competition, no matter what our coach tries to do to combat it. LIU is a good team, but they are just too small for teams like UK, or even Morehead. They took us to school, offensively, for the first 12 minutes, but were no match once they began to tire. I think the team learned alot. We need to work on free throws and turnovers, but Alex got an assist which was good to see. Also, Polson and Hood didn’t hurt us. Wiltjer had some sweet assists, but little else. He is just slow and soft. I don’t think even Cal can change that. Four rebounds? With his size, he ought to get at least 7 or 8 per game.
Overall this team is really coming together nicely, dispite the challenges of being young and thewhole Harrow thing. The box score is very balanced and will get even more so. A lot of offensive weapons. Defense and reboundng will get better with time. By Feb. this team is going to be great. All rests on when this team can peak…

dude we have little depth… hoping anybody on the bench can help out
When will one of Cal’s cats post the second quadruple-double in NCAA history? How about a real first, a quintuple-double?

1 Hood did exactly what we need him to do. Came in and played decent in relief. Jesus he only played 7 mins you act like he got 20.
1 will probly bitch if brian long hits a 3 in garbage mts
1) yea, much like them white duke players that stomped all your talent! talent makes street ball players! smart talent wins games
we have to create more turnovers to compete for a title
how about that lob from wiltjer to WCS man he went up to anthony davis’ realm to flush that one
post game show tonight?

Kyle Wiltjer only had 20 minutes. His PT keeps getting smaller and smaller.
