I gotta say, I thought this was entertaining. And it did make me like Kennedy Meeks a bit…funny kid. Plus, he is already a better interviewer than 90% of all journalists. A good morning watch.

Meeks does seem like a likeable kid. Maybe the WBA can recruit him to kentucky.
Julius Randle appears to have the mentality we sorely lacked last year.
Kennedy Meeks prediction of UK going 39-1, but losing to UNC in December means that he doesn’t think UNC is good enough to compete for a title. He either isn’t that bright or just honest.

I think Kennedy is channeling Boogie. Great fun personality. I predict he’ll have a better and longer career in front of a microphone doing commentary than on the court playing.

Meeks seems like a nice guy, but how does a guy that is 40-50 lbs over weight talking so much sh!t? If he plays 20 minutes or more at UNC they will be in trouble.

Kennedy kid seems to have a great personality, Charles Barkley like, so even if the basketball gig isn’t longterm(NBA Level) – he should get be a sports announcer. I liked the reference to all other McD players that need to red shirt next year because UK has the 2014 in the bag so don’t waste a year of eligibity. I’m over due for a love session, gotta go!
19) we didn’t play them last year. The 2012 Champ squad played them in Rupp (the Davis block) and took last year off to get the home and home rotation opposite of the Louisville game.

I was wrong about Meeks! When I heard he said UK was going to go 39-1 with their one loss being to North Carolina, I thought he was doing some serious trash talk. He is funny and he reminds me of Cousins.

This class reminds me of the MKG and Anthony Davis class. I remember Chane Behanon interviewing Anthony, MKG, and Teague saying almost the same things. Did Matt Jones of Duke really say Duke has been around forever and UK Is just now busting onto the scene?…Really? Duke has no history before Coach K, and they wont have a future after him either. This is the best interview I’ve seen in a long, long time. Well, w/ the excpetion of that Late Night interview w/ K-Ware which was great, too. Kennedy Meeks is funny, effortless, and has a career behind the mic whenever his playing days are done.
As for our very-soon-to-be-Kats, I’m liking them all but Dakari, for some reason from this video-interview, jumps up a few rungs in my book. It’s gonna be a fun, fun year.
I will, tho, repeate what i’ve stated previously: We will not go 40-0 w/o Jared Polson’s leadership in practices, off the court, and in games when the FR show their young stripes.
And #4 Meeks, toward the end, does predict his unc to win it all. Kennedy Meeks is clearly a very bright young man.
Duke recruit doesn’t realize that since his birth, UK has won three NCAA championships. Duke has won two. So whether in long term or short term history, he’s now regarded as a dumbfruck.
