This is the face of a man who refuses to be shown up by Jared Carter and Ramon Harris.
Tanzania will hold a summit June 2-6 , bringing together business leaders, entertainers and activists from the United States and Africa to help address the issues of poverty throughout the continent. This article from the Associated Press pretty much covers all of the details, but it’s interesting to note that the three biggest celebrity draws of this summit just happen to be Jesse Jackson, Chris Tucker and former Wildcat Kelenna Azubuike. These summits first started in 1991 and this is the first time it’s headlined by a former Kentucky player (probably).
In somewhat related news, one of the three guys above can opt out of their final year of a two-year, $1.5 million contract and become an unrestricted free agent this summer. The guy who isn’t Jesse Jackson or Chris Tucker might be looking to make a little coin with a new team after averaging 8.5 ppg and 4 rpg in limited action.
