After reports as recent as yesterday declaring that he would be able to play his freshman year at LSU, it appears that Billy Gillispie’s first commitment is academically ineligible. Point guard KC Ross-Miller had some of his coursework from God’s Academy, a school not accredited by the NCAA rejected, making him ineligible for this season and eliminating any chance of him revolutionizing college basketball with the long-sleeved shirt under the jersey. His father said they are exploring all options.
Along those same lines, LSU senior point guard Bo Spencer was also ruled academically ineligible. He was LSU’s leading returning scorer.
