Karl Towns Wins Second Straight State Title

towns

Karl Towns, 2014 Kentucky commit, just laid claim to his team’s second straight New Jersey Non-Public A (state) title, beating St Peter’s Prep, 57-47. While the championship game was ho-hum by his standards (12 points and 5 rebounds), he averaged 27.3 points and 15.3 rebounds for the tournament, earning him MVP honors. This according to ZagsBlog.com.  Currently, Towns sits at 969 points for his high school career and has the distinct possibility of crossing the 1000-point threshold when his St. Joe’s-Metuchen Falcons enter the New Jersey High School Tournament of Champions.

Congrats on the victory Mr. Towns! BBN can’t wait until you’re in Lexington!
