it was blatantly obvious to me when i looked at the ‘other’ school’s hats and saw that they must’ve been purchased at the local Flying J equivalent … that said, WELCOME and let’s Get Sh*t Right !
#17 people like you give this fan base a bad name. An 18 year old kid who signed on to play basketball for YOUR school had a subpar year so you write him off like he isn’t even one of our own. And even worse you cast him away in a manner that belittles him and makes the rest of us look like jerks for even letting people like you get away with that bull. Also Alex poythress is a projected mid to late first round draft pick, so even though you may not like it Alex wont be playing overseas anytime soon.
17)Yeah get a clue. He was a normal freshmen. You know, just like the other 700 that played in college this year? Do you not realize that his stats were almost identical to Mashburn’s minus assists? Do you realize he had a superior freshmen season to everyone’s favorite wildcat Darius Miller? Do you wish Miller went to Europe? Its the same with Goodwin. He played great at times and looked like a freshman at other times. Do you not remember DeAndre Liggins as a freshman? He did the same dumb things Goodwin did and look how important he was as a sophmore and junior. People need to get a clue.
On a side note, its hilarious the amount of denial UofL and IU fans are experiencing right now. Everyone I’ve talked to swears up and down there’s no way any of the Archie, Alex, WCS trio can possibly return. LMAO, they’re in for a rude awakening if they’re praying all three go pro.
23 I know. I was talking to an IPoo fan after JR made his verbal and he said there wouldn’t be older guys around to help these young guns, then I showed him WCS’s tweet and said the Double A’s were coming back he just told me no way do they come back…..we’ll see.

24) yeah apparently IU and UofL fans only salvation each year with our recruiting dominance is that they’ll only have to see these kids one year. I feel a major meltdown coming when they realize the double A and WCS trio are all three returning.
I’m also amused by the people saying Alex and Archie HAVE to go pro because there won’t be any minutes for them. This is such an absurd and uneducated assumption. Both Alex and Archie will be in the 8 man rotation and if WCS goes pro I think both could start again, but one will for sure. If WCS comes back he’ll start and one of the Archie/Alex combo will start. There not going to be bench warmers… they’re going to get 25-30 minutes a game.
With all three back this is my projected line up and 8 man rotation
1. Harrison
2. Harrison
3. Goodwin
4. Randle
5. WCS
6. Young – 2/3 replacement
7. Poy – 3/4 replacement
8. Lee – 4/5 replacement
That’s your main 8 and they’ll all play 20 + minutes a game
9. Polson/Harrow – PG replacement but won’t see much time
10. Johnson – Will see spot minutes at the 5 spot but he knows his sophmore season will be his time to shine.
11. Wiltjer – I think he should transfer if he’s thinking about his career cause he’s the 5th big man on this team.
12. Hood – Mop up if still on scholarship
13. Willis – Possible Redshirt
If WCS goes pro I think we might actually start a smaller line up and run people to death

28) Dude, just fyi, Johnson is still ranked higher than Lee. Hard to say he’ll be our 10th man.
Also, between being tired or games when he has foul trouble, Andrew Harrison will end up on the bench sometimes. Someone else will have to run point some.
I would like to have all this years young cats return. The competition with the incoming freshman could only benefit all.
Need to FLUSH Poythress and Harrow….they are definitely not UK material.

Man…..I’m harder than an Organic Chemistry mid-term !!!
Hopefully we can teach him the difference between being “a part” of the team and being “apart” from the team.
I was as frustrated as anyone with AP this yr but I really do hope he comes back even though at times this ur I hoped they were all gone…. But he seems like a grnuiny good kid just could t get it figured out in a year but obviously the potential is there the guy could be a monster if he wants too. I love the tweets and the energy from the incoming guys too get the same kinda feeling as the AD MKg class where you just feel they’ll be a special group hopefully I’m right, but with the Harrison’s at the guards Lee/AP assuming he returnsand earns that spot plus randle n Johnson/WCS depth will definately not be this teams issue… And we’ll still cross our fingers for wiggins but getting randle is huge in that if we miss on wiggins now we’ll be just fine, add wiggins and I don’t know that you’ll ever see a class better
N yeah 28 no way Johnson just gets spot minutes he’ll be a major contributor if not starter depending on WCS
