JUCO Corner Shyquawn Pullium commits to Kentucky

According to Justin Rowland of Rivals.com, 3-star JUCO corner Shyquawn Pullium has committed to Kentucky.  Pullium is from Erie, Pennsylvania and comes in at 6’1 and 178 lbs. Pullium originally committed to Penn State out of high school as a member of the 2010 recruiting class. According to Rowland, Pullium chose Kentucky over Arizona State and Cincinnati.

    no it means he will be a member of the 2014 class, thus he will not be here until next summer

    I like the jucos for the first couple years of Stoops recruiting, we need guys that can play right away. Lets just hope he can qualify, he’s had some issues twice already.

    He’ll have two years to play two years…heard the grades are ok for now but that the staff will be keeping close eye on him.

    Unless the numbers were skewed, and at real combines they don’t seem to be, this kid is pretty freaky athletically. In 2009, going into his senior year [ he’ll be 22 in October] he ran a 4.31 40, had a 4.46 in the shuttle, a 31 inch verticle, a 6.86 3 cone and jumped an even ten feet in the broad jump at a combine in Pittsburgh.   Those are definitely SEC cornerback numbers.
