Josh Harrellson is heading to China

Former Kentucky center Josh Harrellson is leaving for greener pastures. At least that’s what we he has told us. After being released by the Miami Heat in January and playing for Brujos de Guayama in Puerto Rico, Harrellson is packing up for two months and heading to the land far far away. He was not waived by the team, but is leaving for a better opportunity.

Good luck, Jorts. We got your back.

If he was leaving KY I would tend to agree with yousince I imagine you are referring to the oppressive nature of the moral majority.

I was hoping he’d be able to find a summer league team to play with to try and work his way to a NBA roster for next year. There are so many guys in the NBA offering less than him it seems almost impossible for him not to be back in the league at some point. Keep working hard Josh…

Anyone see the article on Bleacher Report comparing Calipari and Self as recruiters? They basically use baised methods of contrasting the coaches to declare Self the better recruiter…

At my local YMCA they have been passing out youth camp brochures with Harrelson on the front cover. Basically It claims Harrelson and other players/coaches will be conducting the camp (June 29th) and giving individual instructions. Obviously he’s gonna be in China.
Shame Shame Jorts and I’m sure plenty of parents want there money back!

Don’t be surprised if the Chinese hold our debt to be paid in full in 2 months and they make a General Jorts Chicken.

Looking at just a few NBA rosters, you wonder why a player who is 6’10”, has a huge body, can shoot the three and is a great team mate and a high character guy cannot land a job in the NBA. Boston Celtics have:Shavlik Randolph,Fab Melo,Chris Wilcox and D.J White on their roster. 76ers have Levoy Allen and Kwame Brown.Dallas has Bernard James? Bobcats have Tyrus Thomas and Byron Mullens. The list goes on and on with rosters who have 3 or more big guys on their bench that doesn’t have the ability to hit an outside shot. Cannot believe Jorts isn’t as good as most of these other bench warmers.

Josh did a wonderful job in Puerto Rico but he is working hard to try to get back to the states and play on a NBA team. Proud of you Josh! Work it out!

Does he not realize that China has some of the best internet services? I mean, they have speeds of 20GB download, and 10GB upload. THAT’S INSANE.
