Jon Hood has mono and will not play tomorrow

Sources have told KSR (and apparently Alan Cutler) that Jon Hood has mono and will not be active for tomorrow’s game. Hood has temporarily left campus to recover. There has been no word as to how long Hood will be out of commission.

Lake hair/Big Blue nation does care. Get well soon. Somewhere Doron Lamb is snickering to himself.

I hope he has a quick recovery. He was doing a great job for the team. As a Dawson Springs girl (okay, actually old lady), western Kentucky wishes you well.

Sounds sort of like Ryan Harrow’s situation a few weeks ago. Where are all the knotheads questioning Hood’s guts and loyalty and emotional stability?

Not sure how believable this really is…..think there might be more to it than just mono.

It is that time of year when most players transfer and be eligible next season.

    10. Brother Joe…I think if anyone can be accused of emotional stability, you might be at the head of the line. How can u question is loyalty and emotional stability? He hasn’t really had a fair shake since he committed to UK. I think you are way “out of line” with ur post.

Some of these people with their constant negativity about these kids are the same people who never played an athletic sport in their life. They have no idea what price you have to pay to be in game shape. They sound like looserville fans to me. Speaking as someone who coached football for 13 years and coached for 20 years. If you cant say something to build these kids up waddle over to the tv and turn channels when they play. We dont need your non knowledgable negativity.

Coached for 20 years and played 13 is what I ment. Get behind these kids or stay in looserville

Hopefully leaving campus doesn’t mean going to madisonville because he’ll probably catch something else that’s more permanent there by my calculations from friends. CLASSS of 05′

Without Hoods mvp performance the cats are going to be in trouble. The world may have not ended today, but the loss of hoody makes it feel like it.

KSR should just go ahead and display IP addresses so we can see when it is the same troll slandering a player by using four different user names.

    Get well fast, Jon.
