Joker gets another commitment

Kentucky continued their run of football commitments this morning as offensive lineman Jordan Watson confirmed to KSR’s Aaron Cordero that he gave his verbal to the Cats.  Watson is a 6’4″, 285 pound offensive lineman from Whitewater, Georgia and is a former teammate of current Cat Josh Clemons.  He had offers from Mississippi State, USF, Wake Forest and Indiana and also received interest from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee.  He is Kentucky’s 12th commitment for 2012 and the third offensive lineman.

Watch him work.

According to yahoo, Jacksonville State is making a late push for him. Hopefully Joker can hold off the big boys like JSU from taking him away.

Any chance we could get that running back in a package deal?

Recruiting battles like this with Jacksonville State are indicative of the direction Joker has this team headed.

    Go Cats!

6 & 8) He was also pursued by Southern Florida and Mississippi State. Yahoo isn’t a very good source for sports information, the guy has 4 offers from BCS schools not including KY, and Georgia may have been close to an offer. I wouldn’t downplay this commitment.
