Earlier in the week John Wall took the road less traveled in terms of improving his game when he participated in Kinect Sports 2 Basketball at a Microsoft Store opening in Washington D.C. According to Matt Breen of the Washington Post, for nearly 40 minutes Wall played the game with fans launching full court shots and completing a series of awe inspiring ally-oops with his character. To recover from this strenuous activity he refueled with the the always nutritious, and Paducah, Kentucky made, Dippin’ Dots (he “gets it”). Unrelated to playing video games, Wall seems to be saying all the right things. Recently he was asked about his role in Washington to which he quickly responded, “I just want to be the savior, somebody that the whole city can lean on to make the playoffs and hopefully bring a championship there.” Certainly strong words, but judging from his character and skill, I’d say that Wall would be one to fulfill that claim.
