John Wall First Game Set to Be a Show

Its a great scene here in Las Vegas for John Wall’s first game as an NBA player. A gym the size of a small high school facility is packed to the rafters with fans and NBA types to see Wall play. Lots of UK fans are in attendance as well, as Blue is scattered all throughout the building. Also here is Quincy Miller, the 2011 recruit, who is sitting in the front row behind the Wizards bench and has already tweeted about the number of UK fans here. There are probably 60-75 media here from all over and the amount of writers and tv folks has overwhelmed the media seating, leaving people like hte Washington Post beat writer standing. It really is an amazing scene when you consider all the famous faces who are here and the overall buzz about Wall’s first game. There even seem to be a host of potential groupies in training sitting around, trying to get their reps in for Summer League as well. Should be a cool event, and if you get NBA TV or can watch it on, you should really check it out.
