University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

John Calipari’s return home is SOLD OUT

The Charles L. Sewall Center is completely sold out for tomorrow night’s first round NIT matchup between your University of Kentucky Wildcats and the Colonials of Bobby Morris. All 3,056 seats have been claimed for Coach Cal’s return home to Moon Township.

It’s going to be a bizarre atmosphere for college basketball’s most storied program with the majority of its rabid fan base watching from home on ESPN. The game will be televised at 7:30 p.m. with Jimmy Dykes on the microphone.

Rumors running wild everywhere that Randle and Wiggins have both committed to KU! No wonder Bill Self seemed so giddy yesterday. Did Dave Telep say Randle to KU in his pay service? I am not paying money for it.

Do you know the ticket split? Wonder how many UK fans will be there?

This is going to be interesting since we’ve played so well in hostile environments all season.

    #2, I am hearing different.
I believe that UK will get Randle, but Wiggins is up in the air

I don’t which is more painful-the humiliation of the game or having to listen to Dykes.

Maybe our guys will play well considering most of them last saw success in a highschool gym…

Both Wiggins and Randle are coming to Kentucky…it has been Wiggins to UK forever, he just wanted to play it up. The kid could always change his mind but I like our chances for both. Gordon to Washington.

Apparently, Nike has used MKG’s picture as a generic basketball player for posters congratulating MTSU and others for reaching the tournament. To make matters worse, they’ve used T Jones’s picture for Duke. That’s rubbing salt in the wounds, Nike. http://deadspin.com/nike-turns-michael-kidd-gilchrist-and-other-ncaa-hoop-s-455805846

The majority of the fanbase is always at home.

This will be one of the only times we’re the home team and the opposing fans will outnumber us, though.

    2) May turn out to be true, and if so, they’ll have an awesome team. But these expects are always proclaiming other teams favorites only to watch them commit to UK under Cal.

#2 continues to jump from board to board spreading his BS. Telep is claiming no such thing. Everyone believes that Randle is a toss-up with Kentucky the favorite. No one in the freakin’ world has Wiggins going to Kansas which is making his troll behavior all the more obvious.

in the interest of needing good news, 35 yrs ago today (March 18, 1978), UK topped Magic Johnson & Sparty, as ‘Cats continued their march to ’78 NCAA Championship!!

also, a mere 3 yrs ago today (3/18/2010) marked Coach Cal’s first-ever NCAA Tourney win as our beloved coach (beating E. Tenn, St.)…..

& even though this year was not as any true fan had hoped, we know well that MANY MORE wins & NCAA Title runs are in our bright future w/Cal @ the helm!!!

    11) Yeah, it’s a bit stupid to use not only players from other teams, but to use a very recognizable player whose team didn’t even make the tourney this year.

lets see…our half court doesn’t produce enough points to win…we cant shoot free throws…we wont run the break correctly to score points…so we scored 48 points in our last must win game…and avg 57 points in our last 4 games

    Vanderbilt………….. 8 4 – 12
    Kentucky……………. 0 2 – 2
    FAST BREAK POINTS 1 2 – Tot

Tickets are general admission, they told me on the phone doors opened at 5:30 and once the bleachers are full it would be standing room only. Sounds like they may even be trying to jam 3200 into the place.

Matt believes Randle to UK and Wiggins goes elsewhere. Matt said UK has dropped to 3-4th choice for Wiggins, per Matt’s sources. He discussed this on ksr Monday morning.

If you don’t like Dykes then listen to UK radio on IHeart if you live out of state. I do it all the time. Watch on TV, turn down the sound and listen to Tom and Mike.
