John Calipari and Dick Vitale on today’s KSR podcast

The Kentucky Sports Radio radio gang welcomed two of Kentucky’s favorite people to the radio show today, John Calipari and Dick Vitale. Coach Cal joined the first hour to talk about tonight’s Hurricane Sandy telethon and what he expects from his team in Brookyln.  He told Matt and the boys what all will be auctioned off tonight to raise money, what made him to decide to do it, and how they plan to present the check on the Barclays Center court.

“I don’t have time for this right now,” he said of the fundraiser. “But I have to make time. I don’t have a choice. I’m sitting in a seat that can make a difference.  We know we’re not going to rebuild Staten Island, Queens or the Jersey Shore, but we may keep people alive.”

And in the second hour, Dick Vitale told Kentucky fans that Maryland “will not be Cupcake City.”

Have a listen…

I love that matt will let the guy at the end go on about how great it was that Obama won. If Romney had won, he probably would have massacred anyone that mentioned it. Only 1 opinion allowed on matt’s show. Guess that’s why ryan never disagrees.
