JD Harmon isn’t practicing, unlikely to play this fall

Stoops confirmed after practice that sophomore cornerback JD Harmon isn’t participating in team activities and will likely sit out this fall. Harmon played in all 12 games last season and led the team with two interceptions, both coming against Missouri. The former Paducah Tilghman star walked on last season and earned a starting role in the final three games as a true freshman.

Sooooo… Can any of you play corner?

So what I can tell, that means we still have 8 CBs on the team, right? Assuming Nate Willis makes it to camp. Quinn, Cox, RJ Williams, Simmons, C Lewis, and Jerry Williams return, and we add Jaleel Hytchye for sure, and possibly JUCO CB Nate Willis? There’s only two or three on the field at time, right? Surely that’s enough depth to at least have bodies out there. None of them have any stats that I can find other than Quinn, so I’m assuming the others have never seen game time at all. I have a feeling that’s why the Coaches are so excited about Jaleel Hytchye, the kid is an automatic upgrade and impact player at the CB position.

If he had spent half as much time studying as he did on Twitter, he would be suiting up this fall. More important for him to be cool and chasing girls.
