We have a nominee for tweet of the century. Last night, after LeBron James stopped by the Joe Craft Center to scrimmage with the Cats, Jarrod Polson sent a tweet to LeBron asking the NBA superstar to text him because he lost his number. That means two things, both of which are awesome:
(A) LeBron James gave his number to Jarrod Polson.
(B) Jarrod Polson forgot to save LeBron James’ number.
This could be the biggest recruiting tool Kentucky has to offer. Think about it, a walk-on is playing pickup games with the best basketball player in the world on a Tuesday night in September, and exchanging phone numbers with him after the game. Name another school with that kind of connection.
I like to think these two will maintain a texting relationship once LeBron goes back to Miami.
