Jalen Rose commits to a trip to Rupp

Never one to take a day of from expanding the brand of Kentucky basketball, Coach Cal extended an invitation to a pair of his fellow ESPN Town Hall panelists for a future visit to Rupp.  On his Twitter account, Coach Cal offered the chance to take in a UK game to both Marion Jones and Jalen Rose (Spike Lee must be furious), to which the Fab Fiver replied that he “will no doubt make it to Lexington this season”.  Get your black socks ready.

Spike Lee would get offended and start swinging at the blue hairs.

He would have invited Randy Shannon, but he thought he already was a coach at UK.

    1) Spike Lee would be booed if he came to a UK game

    2) Spike Lee probably stereotypes all Kentuckians as racist.

Not that I’m trying to help the enemy UK/Cal haters out there, but of course he invited Jones and Rose. They too have had their biggest athletic accomplishments vacated.

I mean, really, sometimes Cal makes being a hater too easy. 😉

I like Rose, but he did dominate us in a NCAA tourney game, and I’m still a little sore about it!

I am with # 11. Horrible no call charge that Delk took from him at the end.

Big fan of Jalen Rose he was such an incredible talent. He was tough a great competitor a versatile player…underrated as a pro, he played in I want to say close to 15 seasons in NBA…not easy to hang around that long in a young man’s league. Also Kudos to Jalen for going back to Michigan during his NBA career and graduating and earning his degree!!

    Agree with No. 8.
Who’s next? Jerry Tarkanian? Cecil Newton? Barry Bonds, Roger Clemons and Mark McGuire?

I am still mad that he stuck his tongue out at Dale Brown after scoring.
