Our youth football was offered discount tickets ($5) to the UL – Murray State game. Just wondering if this is an outreach to youth football leagues or if they are having trouble selling out their first home game.

UL fans think that because they won in football in C-USA that they would win in any conference. They see their initial success in the BE as proof of this, and the last 4 years have just been an aberration.

This is why they think they would compete for titles in the SEC.

I agree with Matt on the waste of spending over a million dollars on a Duke flight school. I feel the same way about UK spending eight million dollars on a recruiting room. That is an absurd waste of money and I guarantee you we will not recruit one kid ever that we wouldn’t get otherwise because of the recruiting room. It’s an absurd waste of money.

Makes me hate Duke more to know that they would waste $1,000,000 to fly privately, when the economy is as bad as it is. They very well could have flown commercial and that supports Americans that are working.

98- we have to at least try to keep up with these sort of things. On Mr. Leach’s show yesterday, Oscar Combs was talking about how just about every school in the SEC (that hasn’t already) is planning a football stadium capacity upgrade, except UK and Vandy. We can’t keep up with the SEC as it is. You start skirting corners, at any cost, and you aren’t even sucking hind teat anymore.
