Did anyone else noticed yesterday we didn’t get a story from Ryan about Rex Chapman? I wonder what happened there? Was it another Saul Smith situation? I hope Ryan is there the next time Rex is on the show. I was singing One Four Course Moment while brushing my teeth this morning!

Doesn’t UK play Michigan State next year? I was thinking that was part of the Kansas/Duke/MSU scheduling deal. I could see MSU possibly beating UK next year simply because (A) it will be very early in the season, (2) Izzo is a great coach and (3) MSU always plays very physical…could be an eye-opener for a young UK team that isn’t quite familiar with the physicality of college bball.

His whole recruitment there were 3-4 teams that everyone thought had a legit shot. Had the home school in NC St and the “weather/ladies” school in Miami… Wiggins has FSU… Had a couple that were “blue bloods” that made sense in Kansas and Duke, both in which he took visits to. But once John Calipari went to UK, UK just made more sense. Everyone said John wasnt a fan of the spotlight and just wanted to WIN. Both are milking the recruiting process and ultimately, Both will choose UK.

I really wish everyone that acts like the USA is the #1 country in the world would stop. Acting like we are so superior to Korea or anyone else for that matter…. Why are we so star spangled awesome? Freedom? Out of 207 sovereign states 180 are “free”. Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Canada, Japan…..

    Some Stats:

    The USA ranks currently
    7th in literacy
    27th in math
    22nd in science
    49th in life expectancy
    178th in infant mortality
    5th in median household income
    4th in labor force
    4th in exports

we lead the world in 3 things:
    # of incarcerated citizens per capita
and defense spending which our president is dropping like a bad habbit and crippling our armed forces.

So can we stop with the “superiority complex” we have as americans…
