Is it time for a Twitter ban?

I wouldn’t be surprised if Joker Phillips pulled his freshmen from Twitter this week after two of them sent out tweets that the coach wasn’t too pleased to see.

On the way to the game, freshman punter Landon Foster tweeted, “I think I see the KY state trash dump oh wait it’s Louisville.” It didn’t take long for Foster to pull the tweet and send out an apology. He said, “Poor, poor decision by me. Sorry about that.”

After the game, Dy’Shawn Mobley pulled out his smartphone to voice his frustration with playing time. The freshman running back tweeted, “Got in for three plays BS.”¬†It disappeared not long after that.

Foster’s is a forgivable offense, he’s just a kid caught up in the rivalry for the first time. But Dyshawn Mobley complaining about playing time to his followers and not his head coach is a sign of a bad attitude.¬†Hopefully both young men learned their lesson and we don’t see anything like this for the rest of the season.

Just don’t take Bookie’s phone away, please. We need him.

Be men. Do your talking on the field.

Did anyone notice the strange facial expressions from the UL fan right before the start of the 4th quarter? If you have the game on DVR (and have not deleted it yet) it is worth a look.

Mobley will get chewed out for that, but he probably is pissed off thinking he is surely a better running back than Raymond Sanders. Sanders had a nice run or two, but overall he wasn’t nearly as good as CoShik. Mobley probably thinks Coshik and him should be the 1-2 punch.

Thinking about CoShik, I have to say that he really ran the ball nicely yesterday. He looked to be extremely fast and despite his lack of a large frame he sure was physical with all oncoming tacklers. As a senior, CoShik Williams did himself a lot of favors with that performance in the only game on national TV at that time. The fumble was dampered his day a bit, but he still showed a tremendous amount of skill.

In addition to CoShik, Daryl Collins really stood out as a playmaker. Kid is just lightning fast, can catch the ball, and can make moves. Daryl Collins, in my opinion, is now our best receiver and it’s not even close. LaRod King played decently yesterday, but overall he is just flat-out too thin. Every time he is tackled it looks like his body is going to break.

Mobley is a freshman who was frustrated. Don’t make it more than it is.

Don’t tweet just compete Mobley. Glad he’s pissed though and feels he should be on the field. Probably needs to be a better blocker as all the losing head coaches say about talented freshman RBs.

This is more proof that Joker should be fired. Not only does he lack talent, he clearly has not control on his players. First it was Hartline abusing a woman, now this childish bs.

Brooks may have not won a ton of games, but he brought class to the field. He brought in decent players. How did we go from him to a guy named “Joker”. The joke is on us UK fans. He sucks.

I do not think that it would be bad for UK to have a twitter ban for players within a couple days of games. I think that it would be good for Matt Jones to put a filter on retwitting every players twitter account like Mobley’s before they can take it back.

Mobley will transfer after the semester and become a star at another school. If your taem sucks put in the young kids and get them some experience, I remember when Tim Couch sat on the bench and complained about not playing while we were losing and talked about a possible transfer. Play the kids during a blow-out, especially when the other team calls off the dogs.

Twitter sucks for that, just express yourself to teammates or friends and move on. Coshik did a deent job and Sanders wasn’t bad either, save for the stupid fumbles. We moved the ball on offense and Max Smith looked great to me, as did the WRs. The coaching was crappy (4th down fake punt, not kicking field goal down 32-14 on 4th and 9, when it could have then been a 2 possession game), the O-Line was kinda bad, and the defense was pathetic beyond all measure and did absolutely nothing well. I would work the defense to death this week, get them right, or replace starters so at least the younger guys get experience.

What about your idiot 4th string RB that called for a 35 to noting uk victory. The guy is a clown.

#9…maybe I misread and you were being sarcastic, but are you truly trying to say that Hartlines problem a couple of years ago was Jokers fault? Get the hell outta here with that ignorant crap
