We will need to be ready cuz that is a crazy place to play, but Coach Cal will have them ready. Their defense this early in the year is the bomb! CATS WIN by 12! First

Feel kinda bad for them. They have been playing crappy teams and they think they will have a real chance. They don’t realize that Kentucky can beat them with sheer athleticism…let alone organized teamwork.

The only chance they have is if Jimmy Chidwick comes in to the Town Hall meeting and says, “I dont know if it will make any difference, but I think its time I started playing ball again.”

This is way off subject but I was browsing through the comments sections on the cardinal chronicle website earlier because I like to feel good about myself occasionally. And I couldn’t help but notice how much they think about us in louisville (it’s really kiind of flattering). in every thread someone always seems to find a way to work kentucky (and especially calipari) into the conversation. They really believe they have a better coach lol. If you haven’t been to the chronicle before you should check it out, you’re sure to get some laughs out of it. Can’t wait for dec.31st.

Game 9 – Dear Diary, We will invade Bloomington on Saturday per Captain Cal. With the propaganda being thrown out of planes recently this cold rainy morning, I believe they know we are coming and expecting us to look over them. According to our intelligence they only have 1-2 guys worth guarding. The men in our brigade are expecting a fight in the first 3 — 4 minutes but figure we will drop the BROW bomb early and knock them and their followers out. Well, I have to go shoot some free throws and get ready. Sergeant Malone

Well, at least it should be a good test to see how our Cats perform in a hostile environment against Clark Kent & Co. I can guarantee Teague will be hearing a lot of noise – I hope he brings his “A” game. I look for IU to keep it close for a little while, and maybe even take the lead for a little while, on pure emotion. However, I think our Cats will wear them down in the second half, similar to the UNC game. This game should be good prep for some of the SEC games that they will face this year. Look for one of those to be a REAL trap game – mark my words, the Cats will drop at least one game during the regular season, and that, my friends, will be a good thing. This young team needs some adversity to keep them hungry and focused. I think that is one of the things that made last year’s team come together so well towards the end of the season.

IU has 5 or 6 guys who can shoot the 3, primarily Hulls (15 of 28), Watford (9 of 21) and Sheehey (6 of 16). Jones plays 25 mins and doesn’t shoot many 3s, but he’s hit 5 of 9. Elston plays 13.9 mins and has hit 5 of 8. Roth plays 6.5 mins and does nothing but shoot 3s (5 of 12). As a team IU shoots 44% from downtown. And they make more FTs (at 74%) than their opponents attempt, so they get to the line.

If you’re worried about our ability to guard the 3, if you’re worried about our guys picking up 2 quick fouls in the first half, you should perhaps be a little concerned about IU. I’m hopeful Cal will extend the D and force the adorable little tykes closer to the rim, where our length will greet them with open arms.

I can’t take it anymore. This has to be said:

IU is an irrelevant, has-been program of yesteryear. They are considered to be in the bottom half of the big 10, and an afterthought on the national scene. Out of the four programs in the state of Indiana, Indiana University is the worst. Purdue, ND, and Butler are better programs and are more respected nationally. Indiana is a joke. I think of them on the same level as IUPUI.

I really enjoy when Indiana fans call into the radio shows in Louisville. It gives Kentucky and Louisville fans an opportunity to come together and collectively laugh at Indiana and the delusion of their fans. Are they really convinced its 1987? Or is this just some sort of clever joke they are playing on everyone?

Indiana University sucks at basketball. They have sucked for a long, long, long time. They are a soccer school. Let me repeat: they are a SOCCER SCHOOL. Crean is a mediocre coach at best and RMK is not walking through that door. Indiana’s program and fans are the laughing stock of college basketball. Please Indiana fans, give it a rest, you are making yourselves look incredibly stupid to the rest of the nation.

Two parts, sad and good for IU –

Sad that IU entire season is based around an upset win. No matter what the outcome is, IU will make tons of bucks selling anti-UK junk.

Good is that IU is winning playing much tougher games than Louisville.
