ICYMI: Best of KSR College

Brought to you by front flips in high school football.

—There’s not much to say about the Mizzou game that hasn’t been said. But, a picture is worth a thousand words. Adam Schilt was on hand to take pictures of the Cats’ first road trip to CoMo. It’s… different.

—The best way to get over a football loss is to watch other UK sports teams win, right? Right. Havana Childers sums up this week in UK sports.

—In all the basketball and football hoopla going on around here (okay, mostly basketball hoopla), many of you may have missed that the 2013 baseball schedule came out this week. The men are coming off an extremely successful season- with this year’s tough schedule, can they improve upon last year? David Mulloy breaks it down.

—Most UK fans know who A’dia Mathies is, star of this year’s talented team. But what other players will be impact players for the UK Hoops? Wilder Treadway introduces us to Jennifer O’Neil and DeNasha Stallworth.

—Ah, rival fans saying stupid things. It never gets old. Jack Heyburn ventures into the abyss and brings us the best of UNC, Duke, Indiana, and Louisville message boards.

Billy Donovan’s comment that he wouldn’t want practice “disrupted” by All-Access film crews was… well, I’ll let Will Totten finish that sentence.

—And finally, earlier this week Tyler gave us some advice about how to make your Halloween costume UK themed. Our own Havana  followed that up with guesses/suggestions as to what the members of this year’s basketball team should dress up as. A certain Hey, Arnold! makes an appearance.

I remember being aggravated when ESPN had an hour special on the recruitment of Sebeastian Telfair with our former coach soaking up the limelight and the tool couldn’t parlay that into a signed letter of intent missing out on Rondo as well. Cal is the game changer of his generation in his chosen profession. He has upped the level of everyone of our rivals performance so should actually be thanked by Rick, Tom and Billy.

Donovan spends too much time at the beach, and not enough teaching his team how not to blow a 20 point lead.

I guess Billy Donovan only wants All Access: Florida when it can make him money. There is a 3-disc DVD set of live Gator basketball practices from a year ago on sale at Championship Productions for $149.99. Grab ’em while they are hot!
