-With Julius Randle’s commitment this week, the amount of McDonald’s All-Americans on the men’s and women’s teams next year is almost too much to keep up with. Luckily, Wilder Treadway has you covered.

-Speaking of Randle’s commitment, Andrew McCarthy gathered the experts’ reactions to his announcement yesterday. Spoiler alert: they’re mostly pretty good.

-Okay, now that I’ve improved your mood, we should at least mention the NIT debacle. In this week’s edition of Around The Horn KSRC, we answered “Suppose it was up to you if UK took the NIT bid or not. What would you do?” Read to see whose answer was deemed the best by Ally Tucker.

-After the game on Monday night while striving to find a silver lining, I found Jarrod Polson. Read my post to find out why I think Polson should be considered the Post-Nerlens MVP of the team.

-The UK Hoops earned a #2 seed on Monday night and will be traveling to Queens, NY to take on the Navy. Hayley Minogue has an early preview of the matchup and why the arena will be advantageous to the Hoops.

-And finally, Andrew Cassady watched a lot of basketball this afternoon and summed up Session 1 for you. Andrew, don’t you have a job?

Should have taken the bid, no doubt. Should have never taken it on the road when you’re overall no. 1 seed. The boys needed a home win or 2 to get them back. Then they might have had confidence to go and play away. Worse decision made!

No I will not read your little article about Polson being the MVP in your mind after Noel got hurt. Because that is utterly absurd. Polson plays hard. He also would have never seen the floor more than 2 minutes per game for a typical UK team. Nice stretch against Bob Morris for him, but lets face it, a peg legged drunken pirate playing with 4 fouls could have been UK’s MVP in that stupid game.
