Kentucky Sports Radio

University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

Ian Eagle!!! Clark Kellogg!!!

Clark: “I think Louisville will keep this one close with hot shooting.”
Ian: “Anthony Davis says shut up, Clark.”

We have our announcing duo for tomorrow’s game. CBS assigned Ian Eagle and Clark Kellogg to call the UK vs. Louisville contest tomorrow. The network did not specify which of the two broadcasters will have to walk across the court to ask Ryan Harrow for injury updates, but Kyle Macy has offered to work with whoever it will be.

I miss Gus Johnson.

Yeah…Gus would have been nice but he is no longer working for CBS! Really like to listen to Gus call a good game!

    When I see that photo.

Ian: Ya know Clark, I know you are a flaming UK hater, but could you at least sound bias and contain your hate.

    Clark: uh huh

Someone needs to remind Clark that there are no ACC teams playing. I guess that he will be pulling for Louisville tomorrow. What a jerk, only Billy packer is aworse announcer. I agree with SexNursingHomes above.

Ian Eagle! This makes my day. Only way it could be better is if they had replaced Clark Kellogg with Jim Spanarkel. Spanarkel is great, and anyone who’s played NBA2k11 has heard enough Clark Kellogg for a long time.

The year 2000 called, it wants its desire to be the first commenter back.

We get to hear Kellogg giggle with glee whenever Louisville does something well.

I don’t know what’s worse. Page stretchers or people who go for first comment.

I hate Clark Kellogg, it’s obvious he dislikes UK. I wish Gus Johnson were still with CBS.

Everyone needs to go over to http://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball and vote for Anthony Davis on the poll:

Who is your frontrunner for Player of the Year?
    25% Jared Sullinger
    13% Thomas Robinson
    27% Marcus Denmon
    5% Tu Holloway
    6% John Henson
    23% Anthony Davis

Clark’s commentary throughout the UK/UNC game was extremely biased, more so than any other time I’ve listened to his TV work. Remember — he IS a Buckeye alumnus and that means he personally felt Harrelson’s rocket to Sullinger’s body last March.
