High expectations for Anthony Davis

No one is doubting Anthony Davis’ immediate impact in the NBA, but one pro scout has very high expectations of the soon-to-be No. 1 pick. According to Fox Sports, an NBA scout who claims to have seen Davis play 75+ times says Davis will single-handedly add 20 wins to the team that drafts him.

That’s because Davis has all the important tools in a power forward. He’s 6-foot-9 with a 7-4 wingspan. He runs the floor and finishes exceptionally well. He blocks shots and dunks with relative ease. He’s explosive, intelligent and extremely smooth.

“Really good things happen when the ball is in his hands,” says one scout, “yet he forces nothing and plays within the team concept. Plus, he’s a good person. He’s the total package.”

He’s also a winner, having led a loaded Kentucky team to the national championship in his one college season.

I guess it is possible for a 20-win turnaround for whatever team he ends up on, it just depends which team that is.

The Charlotte Bobcats? Not happening.

    Dear Mr Franklin,

It’s bad enough that you’ve taken every girlfriend I’ve ever dated! Now, you stoop to a new low by posting the picture of the one girlfriend you wouldn’t take! And, she’s topless! What gives you the right to post a half naked picture of Bobby Knights daughter and my betrothed without our permission?! You should be ashamed!

If he plays for the Bobcats it will be much easier to have a 20 game turnaround. Worst record in NBA history. Shouldnt be hard to turn that around.

Actually, common sense would say the Bobcats are the team MOST likely to improve 20 wins if they get AD. They won SEVEN games in a season that was shortened. Getting AD and going 27-55 isn’t unrealistic at all. They will still be terrible, but could easily improve 20 wins.

The Bobcats lost like 23 games by 10 points or less this year. I fully expect that Davis will make more than a 10 point difference for them. Sign me up as a believer that they can improve at least 20 games.
