#26 Is right most of this is for tv. Wall had told the coaches a week before and ESPN told them to keep it secret and they would cover it live. Samething happening here.Some one was complaining about the ones here now hurting recruiting are crazy, Teague told Knight was going pro during the season last year. Most of this is for tv you can bet the coaches and players already know who going were unless a last min. Change of heart like Jones had.

Georgetown made the FF in 2007, not too long ago. Excepting that, they are perennial underachievers. They always get the benefit of the doubt by AP voters and coaches who still remember the 80’s glory.

I think we have Noel, Shabazz, who knows, but even if we dont get shabazz we can still get bennett, amile jefferson, and oriaki. If we dont get shabazz i think our chances of landing bennett get higher because both poythress and bennett are moreless combo forwards and could both be easily inserted into the starting lineup at the same time. I think jefferson would be a solid 3 or 4 year guy that would contribute next year and if oriaki wants to win a championship he might as well just come on to Lexington. Not gonna get all 5, but noels and shabazz’s decisions will have an effect on these other guys recruiting process. I cant wait until 2morrow!!!!
I, for one, think that by taking this time and not making a snap judgment on a school is a good thing. Remember when Terrence Jones wasn’t fully prepared and announced Washington only to recant and choose UK? What would have happened had he not recanted and simply stood with his decision? We wouldn’t have #8, so let the kid think it over and make sure he’s doing the right thing. It’s easy for us to say UK because we LOVE UK.
