When college football dreadnought Paul Finebaum says you need to fire your coach — because, ya know, your coach don’t know his recruitin’ rules — just 3 months after you hired him? It don’t bode well. (Of course, to be fair, it appears Finebaum just doesn’t like the cut of Kiffykin’s jib.
Meanwhile Clay “Kentucky is our 5th biggest rival… in the SEC East” Travis, who proclaimed that Florida overreacted to Kiffykin’s comments, is currently silent about the secondary recruiting violations. I’m anxiously awaiting his rationalization, and I give 5:1 odds that the phrase “everybody does it” is used. Update: Here’s Clay! You should have taken those odds.
(By the way, if you have a few minutes to kill, go scan through Clay’s archives for his pokes at Billy Gillispie. Travis’ attempts at insult humor are like watching a baby trying to play with a Transformer: He’s doing it wrong but its very cute.)
Programming note: Florida-centric posts are forthcoming. I just couldn’t let Finebaum’s column go uncommented upon. Stay tuned, true believers!
