Harrow is back in town

Folks, hold on to your butts. Ryan Harrow has officially returned to Lexington and practiced with the team today, according to both Coach Cal and El Capitan Jones on twitter. Harrow has been spotted UK Hoops game today (pictured above). Check out Coach Cal’s words:
Going twice today. Loved our 1st practice, guys went hard. Ryan went the whole way & looked good. Best part was seeing the smile on his face
Notice the commentary on Ryan going all the way in practice; good sign. Cal says the best part is seeing Ryan smiling, but the most noticeable thing is the MISSING FLATTOP. No! I’m so upset.
R.I.P. UK Kid N’ Play. 2012-2012

Ryan Harrow just released his own statement via UK media relations. Check out what Ryan has to say about his return:
I would like to thank my teammates, the UK coaching staff and administration along with the Big Blue Nation for their support over the last couple of weeks while I was out. I’m feeling much better and it felt really good to get back on the practice court with the guys today. Unfortunately, when I started feeling better, I had an issue to tend to with my family over the holiday break. Everything is good with that now and I’m excited about playing with my brothers again.
Welcome back, Ryan.

great news. hope he’s up to full speed soon
Welcome back Ryan. My brother bob said to tell you hey
Ryan, welcome back and I hope all is well with your health and your family. Just know that 99% of BBN nation is/was and will be behind you 100% and there will always be a few nutjobs who ruin it for everyone. Listen to the positive and ignore the negative/speculative comments and can’t wait to see you on the court.
Go Harrow
Go CATS
Welcome back Harrow
You win this time, but you have not seen the last of me!
Great news. I hope all is well and look forward to seeing him on the court.
Ryan, we love you man. Welcome back.
Cal is the man
Yay!!!
So happy to have Ryan back with the team. Now they gotta keep getting better. Gonna be rough having him back for our first true road game. In Cal we trust
First — and good, we need him.
Signed IU, UL and dUKe!
Elmo Greer’s son and Bobby Petrino spotted together at Malone’s.
Seemed to be viewing their Facebook messages….hummmm!
Elmo and Bobby-O, but no Mitch-O
That sound you hear is a big sigh of relief across the BBN.
Glad to have you back Ryan! Now let’s get that Flat Top Fade working again.
Hopefully, he sucks less now that he is healthy.
We just got better on offense and defense! Depth, experience, another athlete and ball handler. Harrow is capable of double digits every game and is a great defender with hands and feet position! This is a great thing and it looks like he knows and appreciates the opportunity. This is great news! Welcome back Ryan Harrow! We will be rooting for you and our Cats!
John Clay raised an interesting question, do we know the Cats will be better with Harrow?
Welcome back, Ryan. We missed you. I hope everything is well with you and your family.
I’ll believe he’s back when I see him on the court during a game.
By the way… in this picture, he appears to be leaving again
Good to have Harrow back. Hope everything works out for the kid and his biological family. I know his #BBN family is feeling better upon his arrival back on campus.
oh, I’m glad that ‘El Capitan Jones’ has confirmed it. I will rest easier. I think a tweet from Coach Cal is quite sufficient to confirm Ryan Harrow’s status. Why did it take ‘El Capitan Jones’ until 3pm to confirm it? This was the BIGGEST story in Catland today and there was NO mention of it until mid afternoon. Unbelievable.
@22 – ROFLMAO! That’s exactly what I thought! 🙂
17) why dont you suck on somethin??
Heard Harrow is now down 11 pounds. He will be no more than a shrunken head against ND. He will look look like “the head detective” from the in living color skit.
Go Harrow…..Go CATS
Welcome back Ryan, we all love you and that is the best news I have received today.
So glad he’s back and is practicing again. Go harrow go cats!!!!
Welcome back Ryan. Go get ’em.
Let’s support this guy like he’s never been supported before and show him why there is nothing better than BBN!
no one cares about nov & dec. the season starts with uofl game. harrow’s got a month to put in work til then. and even at that point he still has sec sched to improve for march.
do work, harrow
welcome home
breathe the energy and fill it up
Back but with no twitter or Instagram. Surprised KSR is doing a better job reporting this. I’m guessing he was sent home to decide if he was staying or transferring. My guess is he wasn’t playing because he was being disciplined. I doubt we will really know but it all sounds like BS to me. I’m glad he’s back and hope whatever was going on is behind him now. BBN
Somebody send him some welcome back cheeseburgers from McDonalds. He was thin enough already.
Best news all weekend. When Harrow gets up to speed, we will be a totally different team.
I retract my earlier post and wish Ryan the best in this time. BBN
#35: I agree, the family issue / prayer for the Harrow family doesn’t pass the smell test. It stinks of BS. He was probably mad about the limited PT he got during the Maryland game and/or was being disciplined. The rest is BS.
Im feeling really good about then future for this team GO CATS!!!
39- You’re full of crap. Shut up about shit you know nothing about.
When my initial conspiracy theory falls through. I say some does smell right. Might be my shitty attitude though. SMH
Yeah, unfortunately there is some on here who is full of BS and think they know what is going on with him. Why speculate?? Let it rest people, just wish the kid and his family well and get behind him to do good the rest of the year. #3 has the best comment on here about this situation and I, along with him or her wish Ryan nothing but the absolute best!! Welcome back young man to the BBN, practice hard and prove all of your nasayers wrong. Go Cats!!!!!!!! Go Cal!!!!!!!!
I meant something doesn’t smell right. I hate predictive text.
Maybe mono, maybe he’s bi-polar, maybe competition next year, maybe that his mental toughness can’t take Cal’s approach. But now that he’s back, if doesn’t matter. Or does it? I would think if it was mono, that could be hard to fully recover from. If bi-polar, it could rear it’s ugly head any time, like maybe before a big game. If it’s next year, I think that is the least of our concerns. If it’s his mental toughness, I think he can mature. Lets hope he’s back for good and he doesn’t have a relapse.
This whole thing with Harrow could be a blessing in disguise. We found out that Polson is a lot better than most of us thought and if in a pinch Mays and Goodwin can play the point also. If I had my druthers though, I’d like to see Harrow play good enough to play 30 plus minutes a game from here on out.
Damn fine to see ya, Ryan! Now we got a title to defend!!
Welcome back, Mr. Harrow, now prepare for battle! Notre Dame is salivating for a chance to whip us!
The flat top is uglier than shit!!!! Wish Noel would cut his off!!
And maybe they trying to get a construction job taking to Greer!! Call lean add Lawson
And Bizzack next !!
That’s Leonard Lawson btw for petrino bit last I heard Lawson was jailbait and mountain
Enterprises was bankrupt or heading that way 🙂
Screw all the BBN faithful that are making up conspiracy theories. This kid has been waiting for this opportunity an entire year and he all of a sudden doesn’t want to be on the court? Archie moves to the 2 now and we can actually move the ball now vs. Archie driving 100 million times in a game. Completely changes this team for the better.
Healthy or not, Ryan Harrow is simply not a great PG. Never has been, never will be. Disappears in big games regardless of a mystery illness or not. Not a traditional Calipari PG.
Still no reasonable explanation.
Never thought I would hate another player like Teague or more than him but man this kid is in the running. Guess the Monistat 7 I suggested last week worked on his lady parts.
Glad Harrow is back, but I don’t expect him to play much against ND.
