Harrison Twins to attend Kentucky’s Midnight Madness, not Maryland’s

Late last night, Aaron Harrison told Scout.com’s Josh Gerson that he and his brother will be attending Kentucky’s Big Blue Madness instead of Maryland’s Midnight Madness festivities. This news follows his father’s dismissal of ZagsBlog’s report that he wanted his children to attend Maryland but they wanted to go to Kentucky instead.

In other words, Adam Zagoria is 0 for 2. First the air craft carrier, now the recruits.

BBN’s KSR readers just collectively drooled. Now we are looking at a possible 4/5. Unprecedented.

Very happy to hear this. I can’t imagine a better scenario than having two twins, who are considered the best in the country, running the backcourt. This puts a whole new meaning to Cal’s talk about being your “brother’s keeper” and having team chemistry.

Just think if they had gone to Maryland’s Midnight Madness maybe the dad would have gotten his way, just like Xavier Henry’s family. Ask Xavier if he regrets not coming to UK.

We can definitely now count on the Harrison twins to run our backcourt next year. Maybe Adam Zagoria did us a favor with the article? I doubt it. I think that their decision has been made for a couple of months at least. Cal has only been recruiting big men and small forwards lately.
