She keeps the website afloat while Matt and I attempt to cover tennis. She keeps live bloggers calm when things aren’t going UK’s way. She makes sure Nashville stays blue and Danville does too. She’s Mrs. Tyler and today she celebrates her birthday somewhere far, far, far away from a computer, hopefully with the sun in her eyes and a tropical drink in her hand.
Tyler has been with KSR for almost three years now and there isn’t a day that goes by I don’t thank the internet gods for bringing her on board here at KSR. Even before she left her real world job with human interaction and a dress code to join us full-time last November, Tyler has been an integral part of Kentucky Sports Radio. She and I are responsible for the daily grind on the website — and it’s a grind — and it has been both a pleasure and a relief splitting the website duties with her each and every week. Without her, we wouldn’t be where we are today, wherever that is.
So join me in wishing Tyler a ‘Happy Birthday’ this morning. She better not be reading the website while she’s on vacation, but we’ll make sure she sees your comments when she returns on Monday.
And if you would like to get her gift, I know she really likes Rupp Arena popcorn (sans mouse), TV show recommendations and McDonald’s Diet Coke.
Happy Birthday, Tyler!
