Andrew Wiggins is the No. 1 player in Scout.com’s updated class of 2014 rankings, but for how long he’ll hold that spot remains to be seen. The Huntington Prep star is arguably the best player in all of high school basketball and he’s currently mulling over the idea of moving up to the 2013 class. As we’ve mentioned on here countless times before, if Wiggins decides to reclassify, he will likely be the No. 1 player in 2013.
Holding down the No. 2 spot in Scout.com’s updated rankings is Kentucky target Tyus Jones. We saw Jones at the Nike Peach Jam last month, where he averaged just shy of 30 points per game in front of UK’s entire staff.
Another UK target, center Cliff Alexander, finds himself at No. 6 in the rankings and the best at his position. Dakari Johnson, the second ranked center and MKG’s former high school teammate, is right behind him at No. 7. Recent Indiana decommit Trey Lyles is No. 8.
