University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

Goodbye, Josh Perkins

Josh Perkins won’t wait any longer for a scholarship offer from the University of Kentucky. The fifth-ranked 2014 point guard trimmed UK from his list of schools today, leaving only UCLA, Minnesota and Gonzaga.

Perkins plans to announce his decision this weekend, once he arrives at Huntington Prep for his senior season. Perkins’ father recently said of Kentucky, “I will tell you this, we’re not going to wait for an official offer. If the 25th comes and there’s no offer then he will not be going there.”

Best of luck to ya, young fella.

If Cal offers late he will open up that last to include Kentucky. #KentuckyEffect

If Cal don’t offer, Cal don’t want…and there’s probably a damn good reason.

When you know an offer isn’t coming and you want to think you are the best and you want everyone else to think it too, the best way to rectify the situation is saying, “We aren’t going to wait for an offer.” They know they aren’t going to get one but they want everyone to think that they were good enough and that they were the ones who turned it down.

Any guy who would carve stars in his hair doesn’t fit in with the UK brand…just sayin’.

Dang, Perkins is good, but I guess Coach Cal likes Ulis more. I think we’ll land Mudiay and Ulis at PG. Wish all the best for Ulis.

Best of luck to him. Hopefully Mudiay will be running the show in 2014.

One thing players must learn is not to pressure Cal or to put demands on him or give Cal a deadline, this will back fire every time! Several players learned this the hard way in the last few years!

Can you really cut someone who didn’t want you in the first place?

Kid’s just boosting his own ego. UK in his list of schools without an offer? He didn’t cut UK, UK cut him. Shows you how far UCLA has fallen with them competing with Minnesota and Gonzaga for a decent recruit.

Looks like Cards material to me, what with that well-manicured line-beard and hair designs.

In similar news, I’d like to announce that I will not be dating Kate Upton (even though she hasn’t offered either)

In other news, by 4 year old blue chip shooting guard will not be going to Kentucky unless he gets an offer in the next 12 years. Your move Cal!

This story is not over. Just called his bluff. If UK comes a calling down the road, you really don’t think he might change his mind??
