Getting it Done at Madness Campout

I had a great time going to the Big Blue Madness Campout and seeing the always exciting scene outside Memorial Coliseum and the Joe Craft Center. The passion of the fans at the event is unreal, as it is filled with UK fans of all ages, shapes and sizes. There are a few events, the SEC Tournament, the UK basketball Gamedays and Midnight Madness, that I think bring out the greatest cross-section of UK fans all year and those are my favorite to attend. Once again, local businesses stepped up to bring food to the camping area and a number of players have continued to interact with the fans. While all the guys havent embraced it quite as significantly as last year (the young guys may need some nudging), big credit needs to be given to Jorts, Enes and Darius Miller, who all the fans said have made numerous appearances during the two days. Enes and Jorts were outside the entire time I was there and they truly seem to enjoy talking to every fan…a trait that is great to see. Freeing Enes continued to be the theme and below are some pictures my group of five took (and one fan submission) of the festivities and I hope if you get a chance, you will stop by this evening:
