Get Your College Basketball Twitter On!

Tonight is the beginning of college basketball season. You may not know that, as collectively the college basketball world has the worst Grand Opening of any sports organization, college or professional. Still the games begin tonight on ESPNU and to get us ready, our favorite national sports blog, The Big Lead has a mini college basketball preview. They pick a Final Four and an All-American team, while also giving us the 35 Twitter accounts that college basketball fans should follow. It is actually a great list, with virtually all of the best writers on the sport in one place (while also adding Pete Thamel and Pat Forde for good measure). The dominance of UK basketball is shown in the inclusion of not only John Clay, but Kentucky Sports Radio as well, something we consider to be quite an honor. If you are new to Twitter, or simply dont follow a lot of people, click on The Big Lead’s article and add the people it name below at the links it provides. It will get you started on Twitter and college basketball news…you will become addicted.
