Heard this joke on the radio this morning: “I asked Lebron if he had change for a dollar. He gave me 75 cents back. Apparently he didn’t have the 4th quarter!” –I couldn’t help but laugh. I’m no Lebron hater, but that was funny!

Lebron is sooooo close. Looks like he needs just one more piece to win a title. Maybe they’ll convince Dwight Howard to take his talents to South Beach too?

I regret to inform you that I will no longer be able to listen to this show or read the blog. I attended Murray State University and therefore am a “fake” UK fan. I will be throwing away all of my UK clothing, memoriabilia, and other merchandise and will be cheering exclusively for Murray State from now on. I appreciate the author of that letter for making me aware of my transgressions.

He is in a nursing home, is confined to a wheel chair due to strokes and Parkinson’s disease, but finds someone to take him to every UK football game. He went to Eastern Ky U, played baseball there. I’m a podcat listener but I can tell by the comments kind of what is going on. I have a friend who every year post a Facebook status about all the UK fans, who went to different colleges, are bandwagon jumpers. It’s funny, I live in lexington, work for a corporate sponsor of UK athletics, and my wife graduated with two degrees from uk. But from his logic, I’m a bandwagon jumper. I don’t know if this is in the same league of what the caller was talking about, but its just another example of little brother in my life.

When I went to UofL in the late 80’s I would bet 35% of the studentes were UK fans. You would see several people wear UK gear and no one really cared because it was a commuter school. The ony reason people like me went there was due to the extra costs to attend UK. Now that I look back I wish I would have taken the student loan and went to UK instead.
