There was some good news in the world of UK football today as four members of the 2008 UK class found their way to NFL rosters. The highest pick of the group, Man-Mountain Myron Pryor made the final 53 man roster for the New England Patriots and will see some time for Belichek and his boys. KSR Blogger extraordinaire Jeremy Jarmon made the Redskins and will end up getting a great deal of playing time this year. Garry Williams surprised some folks by making the final roster for the Carolina Panthers, which is great news for the young man. And finally, Braxton Kelly was signed to the practice squad for the Denver Broncos.
These four guys join Andre’ Woodson, Keenan Burton, Wesley Woodyard, Jacob Tamme and Stevie Johnson as a total of nine players from the great 2007 team currently in the NFL (with Lindley and Micah coming soon). If that isnt a testament to the advancement of UK football, I dont know what is.
