Former Wildcat Goalie Allows Long Kick, Has Longer Shvantz

Cheer up, Andy! You're blessed!
I’m honestly surprised this news item about Major League Soccer slipped by…
On Sunday, New York Red Bulls’ goalie Danny Cepero scored a goal from 81 yards out, becoming the first MLS goal keeper to score a goal:
And the poor goalie who let the shot by? None other than the Columbus Crew’s Andy Gruenebaum, a former University of Kentucky standout. He’s the first UK player to be drafted in the MLS. In his final year at UK, he was a first-team All-Conference USA and first-team All-Great Lakes region goalkeeper, and lead the C-USA with a 1.04 goals against average.
Don’t feel too badly for Andy. He’s currently a backup goalie with the Crew, who have already secured their place in the MLS Cup Playoffs. His nickname is also “the Hebrew Hammer“.
