Former Cat Helps Clips in Huge Playoff Win

BledsoeArms

With nothing more than bicep flexing.

If you have a twitter, and checked late last night, you would no doubt have seen at least four hundred people mention Chris Paul’s game-winner over the Grizzlies in the second game of their playoff matchup.  Which, you know, good for him, but that’s really not that exciting for us in Kentucky.  What is exciting though is former Wildcat Eric Bledsoe’s contribution to the surging L.A. squad.  Bledsoe picked up 8 points in only 14 minutes, on 50% shooting.  He also grabbed four rebounds and had a +/- of +5 (compared to Pual’s -4).

Oh, and even better, in typical Bledsoe fashion, he had a couple ridiculously athletic plays.  First a block:

And then a dunk:

Strange to think that Bledsoe would have just finished his senior year had he stayed, but he’s clearly doing pretty well for himself in the league.  He’s made himself valuable for the Clippers, and if he continues to make plays like these, that’ll only go up.

Way to get **** right, Eric Bledsoe.  Keep it up.

It’s great to see Bledsoe having a better +/- than “Pual,” whoever that guy is. Great post today, Corey! The two YouTube videos more than make up for your lack of writing ability.

I’m rooting for Prince in this one. Kudos to Bledsoe though.

As far as I know, there was only one player in that game who hit 7 threes against North Carolina.
