ESPN Gameday will come to Rupp for Kentucky/Florida on February 15th

Another season, another ESPN Gameday game. Today, ESPN’s College GameDay crew announced their schedule for 2013-2014 season, and the bus will roll into Lexington for Kentucky’s game against Florida on February 15th. Here’s the full schedule:

2014 College GameDay Schedule

Jan. 18: Morning Show — Temple vs. La Salle (The Palestra); Evening – Louisville at UConn

Jan. 25: Michigan at Michigan State

Feb. 1: Duke at Syracuse

Feb. 8: Gonzaga at Memphis

Feb. 15: Florida at Kentucky

Feb. 22: Two options: Arizona at Colorado OR UCLA at Stanford

March 1: Kansas at Oklahoma State

March 8: North Carolina at Duke

The Kentucky/Florida game is slated for a 9 p.m. ET tip on ESPN. The show will air live at 11 a.m. ET and again later that day at 8 p.m. ET leading into the opening tip. 2014 will mark the eighth time the show will have featured Kentucky, who holds the top two crowds in GameDay history (22,144 in 2010; 15,087 last season). The Cats are 4-0 in GameDay appearances under John Calipari, and I have a feeling that this year will be another “W,” especially if Chris Walker is ineligible.

Just no Harlem Shake Big Blue Shake this time, please.

Went last year. Was pretty fun even though it dragged on. It was interesting how the camera work could make it look like the place was packed. The game that night was awesome. I think this year could beat the 22K in 2010.

Why don’t they do it like football and pick every week? that’s how football gameday avoids duds.

It would be funny to hear the answer to why GameDay scheduled the Dukies twice. Not that we really care but the ESPN/Duke/UNC love affair is seriously hilarious to witness. Think this is the 1st yr CBB Gameday has had a team twice. Regardless, Rupp will be rocking when Florida is in town. Will be a scene to witness.
