A beat reporter for the Utah Jazz says Enes Kanter is considering playing in China next season if the NBA doesn’t get its act together. According to Kanter’s agent, Enes has offers from two teams in China but he can’t tell us which teams because negotiations are still confidential. His agent says they will “entertain those ideas as the lockout progresses” because Enes can’t afford to miss another year of basketball.
The report also drops a bit of sad news on all of us back here in Kentucky. Even if Enes doesn’t play overseas during the lockout, he won’t be coming to Lexington to work out with the other temporarily unemployed NBA stars. He will return to Chicago to train with Tim Grover, the same guy who got him ready for the draft.
