When we first heard the rumor that Enes Kanter liked the Undertaker, we were skeptical. Then we started seeing the Facebook status updates and we began to believe it was true. Now we are realizing that Enes Kanter may be the biggest Undertaker fan in the world. Not since Henry Thomas became obsessed with the Red Rooster have we seen this type of UK basketball — WWE wrestling synergy. The picture above is the latest installment of Kanter’s Taker love and we expect to only see more. At this point, how can it not be justified to allow him to come out to the famous Undertaker “lights out and then a loud DONG” entrance music at Midnight Madness. It has to happen right? There is no other acceptable scenario.
In other news, Larry Vaught talks to a Turkish guy who says Kanter might stay for more than one year. Not saying it wont happen, but Larry has written some version of this story about John Wall, Brandon Knight and Daniel Orton in the last year. When a guy has Kanter-like potential, you should just assume he is leaving and then if he stays, celebrate like you have just beaten Shawn Michaels for your 20th consecutive Wrestlemania victory.
