Edgar Sosa: “I’m not going to lie: I love playing for Coach Cal.”

sosa

Handsome Jimmy, hold on to your seat(s): Edgar Sosa loves playing for John Calipari.

Yesterday on the radio show, Calipari told Matt that former Louisville guard/Dominican Republican player Edgar Sosa was working with Rajon Rondo to properly learn the pick and roll and screens (haha!! properly!). Well today, the news just gets better. Turns out Sosa just loooves playing for Cal. Some snippets from his time with the media:

– “You hear all these stories about the fans and how Big Blue Nation is a bunch of rude guys, but it’s nice out here. I don’t get treated any different because I went to Louisville. The people treat me great here, and it’s fun.”
“I’m not going to lie: I love playing for Coach Cal.”

Next thing you know, we’ll be playing Legends games in their arena with one of their old coaches on the sidelines.

Wait…

Man, Louisville. Coach Cal is sweeping the leg.

Everywhere Louisville turns Cal is there to smack them down. I hate to even admit this but Cal’s dominance over Louisville is so complete I almost feel a glimmer of sympathy for them. Please Big Blue Nation help me to fan the flames of my hatred for the cards to restore balance in my world.

First Rondo teaches him the correct way to run the pick and roll and then Call gives him some pointers too..Rick it takes more than 15 seconds to get the job done. You would think old Rick would have learned by now.

Rondo has to teach him the pick and roll and Cal has to teach him about basketball! When is Pitino going to learn that it takes more than 15 seconds to get the job done!

Does anyone has a IU football season ticket ad on the page? Or it just me?

I’m still going to boo Sosa Tuesday night at the Chicken Coop. But it would be great if Cal’s coaching helped him get a spot on an NBA team. If that were to happen, the Dirty Birds may as well go to the OVC because they will never sign another 4 or 5 star recruit again.

@17, via @8: I’m not an IT expert, but I believe KSR generates revenue through ads. From what I understand, he has a beefy payroll; folks gotta eat. And, based on my experiences travelling, and checking KSR while out of town, “local” sports related advertisements do pop up or appear (up at top, and or to the right). Just sayin’. Matt’s gotta make a living. He knows ‘the law is an ass’.

    20. We are a non profit website. That ad is for the courier journal because that’s where we got the video from. They are not a non profit. They make millions of dollars. I just really like Kentucky Basketball players. Preferably 18 or older.

Nothing that comes out of Sosa’s mouth removes the dagger he shoved in your hearts a few years back. He hates UK and nothing he said makes me think otherwise. What PG wouldn’t like to play for a coach that lets you streetball it up?
