If you’ve been following Sir Rumbaugh’s tweets, you already know that he’s on some sort of Griswold-like Vegas vacation that’s included stealing Roy Williams’ pillow, checking out the Holly Madison peep show and joining in on the KSR Squares contest (enjoy that internet bill!). But, you might be surprised to know that he’s actually checking out recruits or something while suffering through the torture of taking a week-long trip to Vegas. Tonight, Sir Rumbaugh takes to the airwaves to dish on all things recruiting with Larry Glover at 7:05 pm. They’ll highlight the happenings of the Vegas camps and talk about which players the staff has taken a liking to. Also, Dustin will do his best to not sound super nervous.
But, because you can’t really have much of a lively discussion about that bit of tantalizing information, we’ll also throw in this link from ESPN, which takes a look at what’s going on in Josh Selby’s world. Dana O’Neill essentially runs through most of the same things we’ve been hearing about his de-commitment from Tennessee (he felt rushed, WWW had nothing to do with it, etc.). However, one rumor that I heard for the first time when reading the piece is that apparently some people have said he backed out of Tennessee because of the off-court legal problems of a few Vols players. Of course, Selby’s mom denied that to be true, which probably means I shouldn’t bring it up.
But I just did. And I’m not taking it back.
